What's new: ReactDesk in 11 languages, and faster checkout for ready repairs
It has been a big week for ReactDesk. We shipped two updates asked for by Latvian workshops and by everyone thinking about customers across the border. Here is the important part.
Now in 11 European languages
ReactDesk — both the website and the app itself — now speaks 11 languages: Latvian, English, Russian, Lithuanian, Estonian, German, Dutch, Polish, French, Italian and Romanian. Currencies and VAT rates for every EU country are built in, data is hosted in the EU, and you can switch language in one click. If you serve customers in several languages, or you are thinking about growing beyond Latvia, the system is ready for it.
Settle a ready repair right at the till
When a customer comes to collect a finished repair, there is no more hunting for the amount or typing it in by hand. At the register, scan or pick the customer's ready repair — it drops into the sale at the exact price (labour + parts + paid notifications). Paying closes the job at once: the status becomes "Done", the warranty clock starts, and the repair appears on the receipt.
The system won't let you slip: a repair that is not ready yet, or already paid, can't be charged — instead you get a clear message. So your work and your till always agree.
And faster
Alongside this we polished loading speed, especially on phones — pages open faster, text appears immediately, nothing jumps around. Small, but you feel it every day.
Everything above is available right now — including on the free trial. Sign in and try it.
